We can provide legal advice on all aspects of legal costing law and practice.
Bills of Costs
We prepare both party/party and solicitor/client Bills of Costs on the one fee basis being at the current Australian Capital Territory Supreme Court rates allowed for file sorting and drawing and typing plus 25% plus GST.
These rates are increased from time to time and the size of the Costs Statement or Bill of Costs therefore determines our fee.
Notices of Objection and Responses
Our fee for preparation of a Notice of Objection or Responses will depend on what you require and how quickly you need it.
Under the UCPR, objections to a Costs Statement must be provided within 21 days of service of the Costs Statement upon your client.
Submissions and Court Attendances
Again our fee for preparation of Submissions and attendances at a taxation hearing will depend on what you require and the urgency.
